This is the second person I have blogged about that I felt I really should have already known of their existence. That fact that I didn’t makes me feel a little hurt (at myself, that is) that I’ve obviously let my skills of finding and researching the shit out of new music die!! 2013 is the year that I climb out from under my rock and get back into the music game!
Enough talking shit about myself – time to actually start talking about the music
Oliver Tank = FUCKING MIND BLOWING!!
The above track is gorgeous. Such a great version, and the atmosphere that Oliver creates is fucking quality. The combination of vocals and music makes for a haunting sound. Fawn Meyers’ vocal touch is stellar.
I can understand now why the world is in love with Oliver Tank. He’s so solid in his music making, it’s “bordering of perfection!”
I’m so looking forward to getting back to Australia to hopefully catch his live act – A MUST!!
