Esme has lots of potential and should be stepping up to play with the big boys & girls very soon. How do I know this I don’t I’m just making a call so if they do,  I blogged it first and in doing so become god like!

Seriously tho if Esme’s other tracks are anything like “Takeover” then they will be “everywhere” very soon.

Ok I think “London Grammar’s” version is really amazing, taking a classic song and moving it into the modern era for the future generations, good shit! I will be playing this a lot for sure.

HOWEVER… 

It ain’t no “Chris Isaak”, the original is where “babies” come from so “Chris Isaak” gets my #vote!! 🙂

@OliverTank – Sound of Silence

This is the second person I have blogged about that I felt I really should have already known of their existence. That fact that I didn’t makes me feel a little hurt (at myself, that is) that I’ve obviously let my skills of finding and researching the shit out of new music die!! 2013 is the year that I climb out from under my rock and get back into the music game!

Enough talking shit about myself – time to actually start talking about the music

Oliver Tank = FUCKING MIND BLOWING!!

The above track is gorgeous. Such a great version, and the atmosphere that Oliver creates is fucking quality. The combination of vocals and music makes for a haunting sound. Fawn Meyers’ vocal touch is stellar.

I can understand now why the world is in love with Oliver Tank. He’s so solid in his music making, it’s “bordering of perfection!”

I’m so looking forward to getting back to Australia to hopefully catch his live act – A MUST!!

Just stumbled upon RhetoriK and his music. Very impressive, within a short time (around 10mths) he has produced some quality original tracks along with some nice mash-up’s. The latest release from Oh!Hello aka Michael Todd Berland called Nocturnes is a very beautiful love song about not wanting to sleep without your loved one.  love it!!
